Bridges

A dental bridge is an excellent way to replace one or more missing teeth. A dental bridge is permanently cemented to the tooth on either side of the missing tooth and those teeth act as support for your replacement tooth. There are also other types of bridges that can be utilized in other than normal circumstances, i.e.; Maryland Bridge or Cantilever Bridge. Your bridge is carefully made to precisely fit your teeth.

Also, a dental crown is a tooth-shaped restoration, also referred to as a “cap”, which is placed over a tooth to restore its shape, size and strength. A crown may be needed for many reasons including:

Protecting a weak tooth from breaking
To hold together parts of a cracked tooth
Restore an already broken tooth or a tooth that is severely worn down
To cover and support a tooth with a large filling and a small amount of remaining tooth structure
To cover misshaped or severely discolored teeth
